Intercom/Emergency Communications
Overview:
An Intercom is a private telecommunication system that allows two or more locations to communicate with each other. Their are simple two station wired intercom units that are used as a master station and door station to grant access thru a door or gate. Larger applications are comprised of many different types of intercoms and subsystems. In security applications they are integrated with Access Control & Video Surveillance systems to provide audio & video verification of visitors or vendors before granting access into a facility.
System Design:
Stand alone systems provide reliable and intelligible voice communication for critical security applications, including corporate security, correctional institutions, educational facilities, hospital access points, and parking structures.
There is no method by which people can communicate more effectively and quickly than by the use of the spoken language. In an emergency situation, quick and effective communication becomes a life and death matter. Emergency Intercom systems provide users with the ability to gain tangible, interactive feedback in a crisis situation.
